Before heading to the left multifunction switch, make sure the SRS is disabled by removing the negative
Battery Cable, isolating the battery and letting the system capacitor discharge for two minutes. Open the steering column shrouds by taking off the top and bottom covers. After that, take out the instrument panel wire harness connector from the back of the left multi-function switch. Screw out the screw securing the left multi-function switch to the brackets at the left side of the
Clock Spring. Remove the slide from the mount by moving the white switch on the Clock Spring away from the Clock Spring. In the end, take the jumper wire harness connector off the inside end of the left multi-function switch and pull the switch off the Clock Spring.
