    Before servicing the part of the A/C liquid line and suction line connected to the rear of the car, first remove the refrigerant and remove the negative Battery Cable. Unfasten the housing from the air cleaner and break the nut that holds the front part of the A/C liquid line to the rear part. Then take the coverings apart and tip out the dual plane seal. Apply plugs or tape over the liquid line where it is uncovered. Afterward, get rid of the screw securing the suction line connection in the front section and the rear section, unplug them and toss out the dual sealing plug. Take the wire out of the A/C pressure sensor, remove the bolt holding the refrigerant line mounting bracket to the left front shock tower and disconnect the nut that holds the two lines on the A/C Expansion Valve. Remove the A/C liquid and suction lines from the expansion valve, discard the dual plane seal and cover the ports and opened fittings with plugs or tape. Carefully remove the A/C liquid and suction lines near the engine as one group and only take out the A/C pressure transducer if it requires it. To install the transducer again, after it has been disconnected, secure the transducer to the liquid line, fold together the rear ends of both liquid and suction lines into the engine compartment, then remove tape or plugs from all the fittings. Coat a new dual plane seal with new R-134a refrigerant oil, place it on both the suction and liquid line fittings and be sure to install a seal made with the specified materials for this system and the recommended oil. Secure the rear sections of the A/C liquid and suction lines to the A/C expansion valve, add the nut that holds the tapping block, tighten it to 23 N.m and then secure the refrigerant line mounting bracket to the left front shock tower, with its mounting bolt tightened to 11 N.m. Plug in the wire harness at the A/C pressure transducer, then lubricate and attach a dual plane seal onto the liquid line fitting and tighten the nut on it to 22 N.m. Repeat for At the end, install the new air cleaner housing, plug the negative battery jumper into place, flush and empty the refrigerant system and fill it back up.
