Dodge Neon Windshield Washer Nozzle Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Windshield Washer Nozzle on Dodge Neon?
    A:
Before you service the washer spray nozzle, open the hood and loosen the hose from beneath the nozzle. Take a plastic body filler spreader or substitute and carefully slide it just below the front of the washer nozzle. Move the nozzle in and out a little to free it from the panel of your car's hood. Set the nozzle into the hole in the hood panel and push it in to lock it securely with the seal still in good condition. Insert the hose into the nozzle you find on the underside of the hood. With the hose attached, operate the washer system from inside the vehicle, verify that thewasher nozzle points correctly and alter the direction as needed.
  • Q: How to Maintain a Windshield Washer Nozzle on Dodge Neon?
    A:
The first step is to open the hood and disconnect the washer spray hose from the underside of the washer nozzle. Insert a plastic body filler spreader or the equivalent under the washer nozzle's front, avoiding damage to the seal underneath the hood. Wiggle it a bit back and forth to free the nozzle from the hood panel. For installing it, lay the nozzle across the hole in the hood panel and close it firmly, making sure you can see a good seal and it isn't damaged. Attach the hose's end to the nozzle on the bottom of the hood. When the hose is in place, try the washer system on and test for leaks by pushing the switch from the inside of the vehicle and checking the nozzle.
