How to Maintain a Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir on Dodge Neon?

Before servicing the windshield washer reservoir, pull the battery negatives and raise the vehicle using a hoist after isolating them. Remove the wire connector from the reservoir pump and from the washer hose at the pump so that all water in the reservoir can drain. Undo the three bolts holding the reservoir and take it through the fender, then remove the pump from the reservoir. To fit the windshield washer pump, put it in the tank and reinstall the reservoir through the gap in the fender. Fix the reservoir into place with the bolts and tighten them using 6.8 to 8.5 Nm (60 to 75 in. Lbs.) of torque. Once again join the washer hose to the pump, fill the reservoir and attach the wire connector to the reservoir pump. After that, take off the vehicle from the hoist and attach the negative battery cable again.
