    For 3.7L and diesel cars, connect the center support bearing bracket to the shock tower and tighten it to 12 Nm (106 in.lbs.). Next, attach the intermediate shaft to the car and fix the center support bearing to the bracket with the three nuts. After that, set the coupler against the steering gear, add the lower coupler pinch bolt and tighten it to 53 Nm (39 ft. lbs). Press the intermediate shaft seal in place and fix it to the panel using the four tangs. Put the steering coupler shaft on the column next, followed by installing the upper pinch bolt and tightening it to 53 Nm (39 ft. lbs). After the steering wheel is unlocked, fit the knee blocker cover and place the knee blocker in the vehicle. At last, hook up the negative Battery Cable again.
