Place one mating mark where the hose band connects with the hose and another on the hose itself. After that, remove the radiator hose from the band. When assembling, insert the O-ring into the pipes, wet its outer edge with coolant or water, clean away any grease or oil and be careful not to damage or fold the O-ring. After that, feed each hose as deeply as the projection from the water outlet or water inlet fitting reaches and make sure their mating marks fit properly. During installation, place the No. 1 cylinder at the compression top dead center, match the mating mark jointly on the distributor housing with the coupling and secure the distributor to the head of the cylinder. After that, check the water pipe and hose for any cracks, harm or debris. Replace them if required.
