Begin by placing the coolant recovery container (crate), adding the mounting nuts (2) and then tighten them to a torque of 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.). After that, put in the coolant recovery tube (1), refill your cooling system and end by installing the coolant recovery container pressure cap (4).

How to Maintain the Coolant Reservoir on 3.7L/4.7L/5.7L Engines on Dodge Ram 1500?

To maintain the coolant reservoir on these engine types, first remove the outer grille. Partially empty the radiator, not letting out any coolant you can use again and drain the solution into a clean container if it looks clean. Take out the water from the system below the coolant reservoir. Remove the recovery hose first and then come to the reservoir mounting bolts on the radiator support. Get the fixings that hold the coolant reservoir in place by pulling the assembly upward from the radiator side and then remove the reservoir.
