  How to Install the Wiper Linkage Module on Dodge Ram 1500?

  To install the wiper linkage module, ensure that the spring nut securing the left end is properly positioned and in good condition within the cowl plenum. Position the wiper linkage module into the cowl plenum as a unit, lifting the left end upward to engage the rubber insulated tab on the outboard end of the right pivot bracket into the slot in the cowl plenum. Lower the left end into the cowl plenum and align it with the two mounting points. Secure the module by installing the two screws on the top of the cowl plenum panel, tightening the left (driver) side pivot bracket screw first, followed by the center (motor) bracket screw, to a torque of 8 Nm (75 in. lbs.). Reconnect the left headlamp and dash wire harness connector to the wiper motor pigtail wire connector, then reinstall the cowl plenum cover/grille panel over the cowl plenum. Reconnect the battery negative cable and reinstall both Wiper Arms onto the wiper pivots before closing and latching the hood.
