For any clutch release fork service or repairs, begin by raising and supporting the car. Tilt back the master cylinder housing, take out the heater shield and pull the two nuts from the slave cylinder to the clutch before removing it. Detach the plastic clip that holds the hydraulic line to the lower dash panel flange and then pull out the clip on the upper dash panel stud. Drop the vehicle and pull out the clutch pedal interlock switch connector. Get rid of the rod pin from the
Clutch Master Cylinder, while at the same time checking that the cap on the reservoir is not loose. Remove the nuts keeping the clutch master cylinder attached to the dash so that you may also take out the clutch cylinders, the reservoir and the connecting lines.
