The engine crankshaft position (CKP) sensor is located at the right-rear side of the engine cylinder block and is drilled, positioned and bolted into a machined hole in the engine block. The CKP sensor can be disconnected from the sensor after the vehicle has been raised. Next, take off the CKP mounting bolt. Remove the sensor from the vehicle by twisting it carefully from the cylinder block. Check the condition of the O-ring of the sensor.
