You don't need to take off the fuel pump module to access the fuel pressure regulator inside it. Initially verify that the fuel system air pressure is all released. Drain the fuel tank and take it out first. The rubber grommet has the fuel filter/regulator fitted and it can be removed by twisting and pulling directly up; you shouldn't pull it more than three inches from the fuel pump module, as the coiled fuel tube could be damaged. Gently remove the old fuel tube clamp so it doesn't damage the tube and then remove the tube from the filter/regulator. Cover the plastic fuel tube with the clamp and then turn the regulator so it points toward the driver's side of the car. Secure the line clamp with special Hose Clamp Pliers number C-4124 or a tool like it, instead of using side cutters. Drop the filter/regulator into the rubber grommet so it faces the driver's side, put the fuel tank in place and then inspect for any fuel leaks.
