When servicing the brake proportioning/combination valve, remove the left turn signal assembly and the panel underneath it. Connect your horn connector to the battery, pop off the access cover and loosen the screws under the reservoir. Lift the reservoir so you can remove the connector and hose from the pump motor and then pull the reservoir out of the engine space. After that, take the pressure differential switch wire off the combination valve and remove both brake lines on the switch side. From the access hole you made above, pull out the other two brake lines from the valve and then get rid of the retaining bolt, removing the valve through the access hole. To fit the valve, seat it on the mounting bracket, insert the bolt and tighten to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.). Screw in the brake lines by 13 Nm (115 in. lbs.). Place the washer reservoir under the hood, attach the washer pump hose and motor and hold it in position with its screws. First, connect the horn back to the module, add the access cover, add the extension panel and later the left turn signal housing. After that, go on to fill and bleed the base brake system.
