How to service and repair the Door Lock Switch on Dodge Ram 2500 Van?

It is important to disconnect the negative battery cable before handling the door lock switch assembly. Take off the inside trim panel and then loose the connector join between the switch wire on the door lock switch and the door wire harness. Reach the door panel behind the door seat to disconnect the switch for the lock from the back of the door lock switch and remove the retainers connecting the wire to the door panel before uninstalling the switch. Put the door lock switch into the lock cylinder's hole from the door and attach it to the back of the door lock switch. Attach the retainers to the inner door panel, connect the pigtail wire connector to the door's wire harness, put on the trim panel and plug the negative battery cable back in.
