Before servicing the wheel hub, drive the vehicle up on jack stands and take the wheel and tire off. After that, remove the brake caliper, rotor and ABS wheel speed sensor if your car has one. Following this, take out the three hub/bearing mounting bolts that hold the steering knuckle to the hub. In the last step, pull the hub/bearing out from the steering knuckle and take off the brake dust shield.
