First, give support to the vehicle so it's raised and then take off the entire front wheel and tire assembly. Guide the car's tissue weight down to the outboard side, then unbolt the
Shock Absorber. After that, place Spring Compressor DD1278 under the air suspension aftermarket body using the rear arm, coil spring and frame hole, so the bell-shaped adapter rests on the bottom suspension arm and use a nut to lock it securely in the frame hole. Tighten the spring compressor nut on the bell adapter so it is just finger tight, then turn it back half a turn to hold the suspension spring as you pull the arm off the
Steering Knuckle. After you've removed the steering knuckle and stabilizer link, remove the lower
Control Arm support. Tighten the spring compressor tool to push the coil spring down and if you have to, unbolt the control arm pivot to give the spring more space to move. After you've loosened the tension on the spring compressor, let the lower suspension arm fall down. Then remove the spring compressor and finally pull out the coil spring and the isolator pad from the vehicle.
