Service of the Junction Block and Body Control Module should begin with disconnecting the negative battery cable from the left shock tower remote terminal. Start by removing the front driver's door end cap, then the center bezel, instrument cluster hood and silencer. Take the two wire harness connectors off the Junction Block and also remove the three attachment screws. After that, cut the BCM wires, detach the BCM from the junction block and pull the BCM out of the vehicle. Remove the BCM attaching screws and disconnect it from the Junction Block after you have removed it. Connect the BCM to the Junction Block and maintain it by using the provided screws. With the vehicle on the floor or blocks, put the Junction Block/BCM in place, secure the connectors of the BCM wires and fix the Junction Block to the underhood mounting points with screws. Attach the wires to the Junction Block, fit the silencer, cover the instrument cluster with its housing, add the center bezel and put the end cap back. Next, take the battery negative cable and screw it back to its connection in the car.
