After that, review the MAP sensor o-ring seal (2) to ensure no cuts or tears are present. Put the sensor (1) into the intake manifold and then attach the two sensor bolts (3). After that, insert the electrical connector into the sensor's port.

Before you take out the MAP sensor, take the air cleaner assembly off and then unscrew the two bolts that hold the sensor in place. Take the MAP sensor off, then slide the vacuum rubber L-shaped fitting off the throttle body and free it from the sensor. To install, screw the L-shaped rubber fitting to the MAP sensor, set the sensor onto the throttle body and slide the rubber connection over the throttle body vacuum nipple and then attach the MAP sensor with the bolts, tightening them to 3 Nm or 25 in. lbs. torque.
