  Raise the Washer Reservoir upward and remove the cover, then install the front washer pump/motor unit (2) onto the inboard of the reservoir. Replace the rubber grommet seal/filter screen in the front washer pump/motor mounting hole in the washer reservoir (1) with a new one each time. Guide the nipple of the front washer pump/motor unit onto the rubber grommet seal/filter screen inside the reservoir, then press the entire pump/motor down on the reservoir until it's set in position. Pull the front washer hose back onto the barbed nipple coming from the washer pump and link the vehicle wire harness connector to the connector receptacle on the top of the pump motor. Set the mounting holes on the washer reservoir in line with the bracket attached to the left front fender wheel house and then put in and secure both screws to install them. Tighten the screws, after which refill the reservoir with washer fluid and connect the battery's negative cable.

  Get started by removing the wire harness connector from the motor connector receptacle. Following that, unplug the supply hose from the pump/motor outlet, so the washer fluid empties into a clean vessel for reusing. In case that switch exists, take the washer fluid level switch vent hose off the barbed vent nipple on the washer pump/motor unit. Grab the washer pump and carefully remove it from its seal in the rubber grommet of the reservoir, being careful with the reservoir. Pull and remove the rubber grommet sealing the washer pump mounting hole on the reservoir. Replacing the washer pump is done by putting a new grommet seal into the mounting hole, making sure it isn't used. Line up the end of the pipe extending from the washer pump with the rubber ring in the reservoir and push firmly down until the pipe is joined.
