In order to service a hydraulic lash adjuster while the camshaft is still in place, first take off the cylinder head cover and then the
Rocker Arm. The next step is to remove the hydraulic lash adjuster just like before for all of them. For reusing adjustors, label each one to indicate its original reassembly spot, since they come as assemblies from the manufacturer. Prior to installing, check that every hydraulic lash adjuster has some engine oil which means the plunger doesn't move much when you press the lifter. Then, add the rocker arm and run through the process again for every hydraulic lash adjuster before putting on the cylinder head cover.
