How to Perform a Double Inverted Flare on a Brake Line on Jeep Wrangler?

It is suggested that for brake hose and line service and repair, you should always use a metal brake tube, but a double-wall steel tube can be used in emergencies when no replacement factory parts are available. You should begin by using a Tubing Cutter to cut off the broken tube and afterwards, ream the cut edges to create a good flare. Put the replacement tube nut over the tube and insert the tube into your flaring tool. Insert the gauge form into the end of the tube and run the tube through the flaring tool jaws so they touch the matching recessed area in the gauge. Use the tool bar to constrict how free the tubing can move. After that, push the plug from the gauge into the tube, cover it with the compression disc and make sure the tapered flaring screw is centered in the disc's opening. Fasten the handle until the plug gauge is lined up with the jaws of the flaring tool to initiate making the inverted flare. After that, take out the plug gauge and finish making the inverted flare.

How to Install Brake Lines for Optimal Performance on Jeep Grand Cherokee?

When installing the primary or secondary brake tubes, start by joining them to the master cylinder and, secondly, fasten both tubes to the HCU. Next, take out the brake pedal prop rod before going ahead to fill and bleed the brake system.

When installing the primary or secondary brake tubes, start by joining them to the master cylinder and, secondly, fasten both tubes to the HCU. Next, take out the brake pedal prop rod before going ahead to fill and bleed the brake system.
