How to Service the Cruise Control Switch on Jeep Wrangler?

Set the steering wheel to a straight position before doing any work on the speed control switch. Take the negative battery cable off to keep the air bag system from being active which lets the air bag capacitor release its energy for about two minutes. Switch off the ignition before you get the air bag out. Now, few the connector from the Clock Spring and take out the three mounting screws. After that, pull out the horn switch and remove two or three screws that secure the speed control switch. Once that is done, remove the electrical connector and the switch as well.

How to Install a Cruise Control Switch on Jeep Grand Cherokee?

First, set switch 2 onto the steering wheel and then secure it with screw 1 after tightening it to the right torque specified by the instructions. The next step is to attach the switch to the car, set the air bag module and belt the negative battery cable to the battery.
