How to Service and Repair a Cruise Control Servo on Jeep Wrangler?

Force people should check and remove the ground wire from the negative terminal at the battery. After that, separate the vacuum line and electrical connector from the servo and then take out the servo cable from the throttle body. Take out the two nuts holding the servo cable sleeve to the bracket, then draw the speed control cable sleeve and servo away from the mounting bracket to remove the cable retaining clip. Notice the servo's positioning on the bracket as you start to take it off. Put the servo onto the mounting bracket, ensuring the hole in the cable connector matches that in the servo pin and attach the clip that holds the cable and servo together. Position the mounting studs on the holes in the mounting bracket, fit each with a nut and tighten all of them to 8.5 Nm (75 in. lbs.). After that, plug the vacuum section of the vacuum line and the electrical connector from the servo at the same spot on the intake system. After that, reattach the negative battery cable to the battery and use the accelerator pedal to make sure there is no binding before you start the engine.
