How to Service and Repair a Door Lock Cylinder on Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To start service and repair, pull out the exterior door handle from the driver side front door. After that, put your hand on the lock cylinder and push hard enough for it to slide out through the opening on the back of the door handle.

How to Install a Door Lock Cylinder for the Front Full Door on Jeep Wrangler?

Before installing the front full door lock cylinder, first fit gasket 1 onto lock cylinder 2 and make sure it is securely seated. Then, mount lock cylinder 2 into the hole in the outside door panel, making sure the cylinder posts towards the front and the drain hole faces down. After securing the lock cylinder 2 to another part, add the retainer clip 3 around it and confirm that lock's pin fits into position in the door module. Next, the carrier plate goes in place.
