To install the blend door actuator in a single zone system, secure it by the actuator onto the left side of the HVAC air distribution housing which is found by the passenger seat. Slightly turn the actuator to get the splines on the actuator output shaft and the splines on the blend door cam to line up. Hook up the HVAC wire harness connector to the actuator and tighten the screws holding the actuator onto the housing with 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). In LHD vehicles, fit the silencer for the instrument panel at the driver side and for RHD vehicles, insert the
Glove Box into the instrument panel. Now attach the negative
Battery Cable again. Stick the blend door actuator in your car, securing it to the correct junction at the right side of the HVAC air distribution housing with the right splines in place. Use two 5 mm screws to attach the actuator to the housing, gently tightening until they reach 2 Nm. After that, link the wire harness connector to the back of the actuator. With LHD models, set the glove box into the instrument panel and on RHD models, set the instrument panel silencer on the left side. In the end, hook the other side of the negative battery cable back up again.
