How to Service and Repair a Headlight Switch on Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Branch circuits with air bags should have their battery cable disconnected and the area isolated so that there is no accidental release of air bags. To release the bezel's four snap clip retainers, destick it from the instrument panel bezel with a wide, flat blade. Separate the cluster bezel far enough to unlatch the wiring harness from the headlamp leveling switch and pull out the electrical connection. Press down on the switches so the tabs pop the switch free from its module. Two silicone connection points are included to help position the bezel. While installing, ensure the wires for the headlamp leveler fit into their proper hole. Change dual beam output by activating the headlamps leveling switch and check that it works properly. Place the headlamp leveling switch into the instrument panel cluster bezel and snap it in place. After that, reattach the negative battery cable.
