    To service the Pitman Arm, remove the cotter pin and nut from the drag link at the pitman arm, follow it with a puller to get the drag link ball stud free of the pitman arm. Then, remove the nut and washer from the steering gear shaft, mark the pitman shaft and pitman arm to help in installation and remove the pitman arm using Puller C-4150A. First, set the pitman arm on the gear shaft and then slide the washer and nut onto it, finishing by tightening the nut to 251 Nm (185 ft. lbs.). After that, connect the drag link ball stud to the pitman arm, tighten it with a nut to 88 Nm (65 ft. lbs.) and fit a new cotter pin.
