To start, fasten the front steering knuckle in place on the vehicle. After that, place the lower end of the ball joint inside the knuckle and thread the lower ball joint nut onto it, tightening it by hand until it reaches 95 Nm (70 ft.lbs.). After that, install the upper ball joint into the knuckle, using the upper ball joint nut and fasten it to 95 Nm (70 ft.lbs.). Tighten the outer tie rod end to the steering knuckle, place the hub/bearing (3) on the steering knuckle, then tighten this joint to 136 Nm (100 ft. lbs.). Should your truck have four-wheel drive, fit the axle shaft nut and tighten it to 135 Nm (96 ft. lbs.). Install the wheel speed sensor (2), disc brake rotor (1) and caliper adapter (1), then the tire and wheel. Don't forget to perform a wheel alignment at the end.
