Remove and insulate the vehicle's negative battery cable and then raise and secure the vehicle before handling the rear washer pump/motor. Unplug the left headlamp and dash wire harness connector from the motor connector receptacle inside the front fender wheel house liner. Unhook the washer hose from the outlet nipple on the back side of your washer pump/motor to let the fluid drain into a clean, reusable container. Place a trim stick or similar flat bladed tool into the washer pump and please do not damage the reservoir as you gently remove the barbed nipple from the rubber seal inside. Get rid of the rubber grommet at the mounting hole for the pump in the washer's reservoir. Make sure to set a new rubber grommet seal in the hole for the washer pump and check that it is new. Place the washer pump's barbed end on the stopper of the reservoir and press until you heavily seat it. Put the washer hose back onto the barbed end of the pump and join the left headlamp and dash wire harness connector with the receptacle of the motor on the motor side of the firewall. Fit the liner once more into the left front fender wheel house, bring the vehicle down, add washer fluid to the reservoir and then hook up the battery negative cable.

Attach new secure fasteners to hold down the front wheelhouse splash shield, place the wheels on the ground again, then fasten the negative terminal of the battery. When the tubing is disconnected, recharge the washer, add back the drained washer fluid and fasten the negative battery cable.
