How to install the Daytime Running Light Relay on Jeep Liberty?

To install the Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) relay, first disable the supplemental restraint system to prevent accidental air bag deployment by disconnecting and isolating the battery negative cable and waiting two minutes for the system capacitor to discharge. The DRL relay is mounted in Junction Block (JB) at driver side outboard end of instrument panel. The circuit must not have headlamp high beam relay installed in the adjacent receptacle. Insert the DRL relay in the correct cavity in the JB and ensure that the terminals are matched to the cavities. Push down on the top of the relay until the relay is fully seated in the JB receptacle. Once installed, the trim on the driver side outboard end of instrument panel is to be reinstated and battery negative cable reconnected.
