Server and repair the fuel level sensor by first releasing the fuel system pressure, since it stays under pressure at all times. You should first empty the car by taking out the fuel tank. Place the special Lockring Remover/Installer 9340 over the notches that border the outside edge of the lockring. Fit a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar on the Lockring Remover/Installer tool 9340 and turn the breaker bar in the direction opposite to rotation to get rid of the lockring. When the lockring is gone, the module should come up slightly, making it possible to take out the arm from the fuel tank; be careful not to bend the float arm.
