  Start with the air cleaner tube and disconnect the electrical connectors at the IAC motor and TPS to work on the throttle body. After that, take out all the control cables from the throttle body lever arm and get rid of the necessary vacuum lines. Remove all three of the throttle-body-to-Intake Manifold bolts and check the old O-ring while pulling away the throttle body. Before you install new parts, examine the throttle body-to-intake manifold O-ring and change it if it is damaged. First, clean the parts where each assembly mates and then add the new O-ring and reattach the throttle body after cleanup. Secure the throttle body using three bolts, turning them to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.) torque. Replace the control cables, electrical connectors and vacuum lines and put the air cleaner duct on the throttle body.

  First, take out the air cleaner tube at the throttle body and then disconnect the wires from the IAC and TPS. After that, detach all control cables from the throttle body lever arm by using the steps from the Accelerator Pedal and Throttle Cable guide. Disconnect the lines that power the vacuum at the throttle body, remove the bolts holding the throttle body and lift the throttle body from the Intake Manifold. Look at the O-ring between the throttle body and intake manifold and change it if you notice any problems. After cleaning the surfaces that meet, set in a replacement O-ring for the throttle body-to-intake manifold. Connect the throttle body to the intake manifold again and hold it in place with the three screws, tightening them to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs) torque. Put back the control cables, electrical connections and vacuum lines and after that, set aside the air cleaner duct at the throttle body.
