First, take out the air cleaner tube at the throttle body and then disconnect the wires from the IAC and TPS. After that, detach all control cables from the throttle body lever arm by using the steps from the Accelerator Pedal and
Throttle Cable guide. Disconnect the lines that power the vacuum at the throttle body, remove the bolts holding the throttle body and lift the throttle body from the
Intake Manifold. Look at the O-ring between the throttle body and intake manifold and change it if you notice any problems. After cleaning the surfaces that meet, set in a replacement O-ring for the throttle body-to-intake manifold. Connect the throttle body to the intake manifold again and hold it in place with the three screws, tightening them to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs) torque. Put back the control cables, electrical connections and vacuum lines and after that, set aside the air cleaner duct at the throttle body.
