  Q: How to Service and Repair a Windshield Washer Nozzle on Jeep Liberty?

  Open the hood by loosening the latch before you work on the windshield washer spray nozzle. Take out the two Wiper Arms from their pivots on the front of the vehicle. After that, get rid of the cowl plenum cover/grille panel above the cowl plenum. From beneath the cowl plenum cover/grille panel, take the washer nozzle hose away from the nipple of the front washer nozzle. Stop the integral snap features of the front washer nozzle and slide it up the cowl plenum cover/grille through its mounting hole, finally removing the nozzle. When installing, pass the front washer nipple end under the grille panel, making sure the tab clicks into place in the anti-rotation notch at the top of the cowl. Push hard on the nozzle until it clicks and attaches on the bottom. Match the washer hose to the front washer nipple and snap it into the clip holders under the cowl plenum cover/grille panel. Place the covered cowl plenum grille back onto the cowl plenum and then secure each front wiper arm swing onto a Wiper Pivot. When all is done, be sure to close and latch the hood.

  Servicing the windshield washer spray nozzle at the front should start with unlatching and opening the hood. After that, unscrew both front Wiper Arms from the pivots and remove the cover panel sitting over the cowl plenum. Remove the washer nozzle hose from the barbed nipple at the front by lifting the cover underneath the sprayer. From the underside, remove the integral latch features from the front washer nozzle on the cowl plenum cover/grille panel and push the nozzle out above the cover. Next, lift out the front washer nozzle at the top edge of the cowl plenum cover/grille panel.
