Disconnected and isolated the battery negative cable to service and repair Power Trunk / Liftgate Lock Actuator. Then you will pull off the lift gate trim panel and disconnect the motor wire harness connector. Finally, gently disconnect the liftgate lock motor from the liftgate and remove it.
