How to Install a Blend Door Actuator on Jeep Patriot?

Place the recirculation door actuator so it is directly beside the air inlet housing on the HVAC system. Attach the actuator onto the air inlet housing, making sure the splines on the actuator shaft join with those on the recirculation door adapter. Always ensure the screws you put into the air inlet housing, to fix the recirculation door actuator, are tightened to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). Join the instrument panel wire harness connector to the recirculation door actuator, slide the glove box bin in place and hook up the negative battery cable again.
