2000 Dodge Dakota Mirror Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Mirror Switch on 2000 Dodge Dakota?
A: Disconnect and separate the battery negative cable before you begin working on the power mirror switch. After that, slide the power mirror switch control knob in a rearward motion to remove it from the stem. Unmount the switch for the power mirror by removing its securing nut, then get rid of the cover panel from the front door. Separate the front door trim from the inside door panel to get to the power mirror switch wire harness connector. Get the power mirror switch wire harness connector unplugged and take out the power mirror switch from the back of the front door trim panel. Go in reverse and apply the original steps to set up your new switch.
