Take off the air cleaner housing and pull the negative wire from the battery. After that, remove the distributor cap by taking out the two screws and also loosen the camshaft position sensor wire from the engine's main harness. Take out the distributor rotor from the distributor shaft and lift the camshaft position sensor assembly out of the distributor housing. Install the sensor into the distributor, so it lines up with the slot on the distributor housing. Attach the harness, set the rotor in place and tighten the screws that hold the distributor cap. At last, put in the air cleaner assembly.
