How to Replace an A/C Hose to Maintain HVAC Efficiency on 2000 Dodge Ram 3500?

The first step is to isolate the negative battery cable, then take care of the refrigerant in the system before changing the A/C liquid hose/line. At the condenser outlet and the evaporator inlet, separate the liquid line refrigerant line couplers and insert plugs or tape into any opened refrigerant fitting. Remove the liquid line from the vehicle by removing any clips from the inner fender shield and from the dash panel. To install the liquid line, fit it into the clips on both the inner fender shield and the dash panel, strip off the tape or plugs from the refrigerant line fittings of the liquid line, condenser and evaporator and attach it to both of them. Put the battery's negative cable back, release any refrigerant, then add new refrigerant.
