How to Service the Heater Control Valve in the Engine Cooling System on 2000 Dodge Viper?

To service the heater control valve make sure coolant temperature is below 90degC. Release pressure by opening the radiator cap slowly then remove heat shield. Disconnect hoses and the electrical connector, and then remove the valve. Reinstall in reverse order, getting all connections tight and the system topped off.
