How to Maintain and Fix Rear Coil Springs on 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Raise and support the vehicle, then place a hydraulic jack under the axle to provide support for the rear coil spring. First, take out the wheel and tire component, then the stabilizer bar link from the stabilizer bar and afterward, get rid of the shock absorber lower bolt on the axle bracket. Reset the hydraulic jack so the axle tilts, remove it and examine both the upper and lower spring isolators. Before anything else, install the upper isolator, then put the isolator located with the nub into the axle pad hole. Bring the axle down and put the coil spring in the lower isolator, so the spring coil is touching the spring locator. After raising the axle, put the shock absorber on the axle bracket, tighten it as specified and install the link on to the stabilizer bar. Put back the wheel and tire units, detach the lifting supports and move the vehicle down so you can tighten the stabilizer bar links.
