How to Service Rear Coil Springs on 2000 Jeep Wrangler?

Before anything else, carefully raise and support the vehicle and under the axle put a hydraulic jack for support. Begin by disconnecting the stabilizer bar links and shock absorbers from the axle brackets and finish by cutting the track bar off from the frame rail bracket. Relax the axle until the spring comes away from the upper mount seat and takes it out. For putting in the spring, place it on the axle pad isolator and move the axle up until the spring fits on the top isolator. Put back the stabilizer bar links and shock absorbers to the axle bracket and fasten the track bar to the frame rail bracket. When the supports are removed, lower the vehicle and tighten the stabilizer bar links, shock absorbers and track bar to their proper amount of torque.
