How to Maintain a PCV Valve on 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

To service the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve, remove the hose and the valve. Apply Mopar Thread Sealant with Teflon to the 2nd and 3rd threads of the valve, install it, tighten to 7.9 Nm (70 in. lbs.), and reconnect the hose.
