2001 Chrysler Sebring A/C Condenser Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service an A/C Condenser on 2001 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Recover all refrigerant coming out of the A/C system by using the R134a refrigerant recovery machine. Subsequently, take off the front fascia, then the upper radiator support cross-member and finally the transmission cooler lines from your transmission. Then, take out the A/C lines and put caps on them to stop moisture from accessing the unit. After removing the two mounting bolts for the condenser, take it out of the vehicle. To install, pull the condenser down into the vehicle and fix it in place with the bolts. Replace the 0-rings, fit the A/C lines and fit the transmission cooler lines. Set the upper support in place under the radiator and install the front fascia, then empty and top up the A/C system.
