2001 Chrysler Sebring A/C Hose Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace an A/C Hose in an HVAC System for Discharge Hose on 2001 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Start by getting rid of the refrigerant with an R134a refrigerant recovery machine and then replace the A/C discharge hose/line. Cut off the pressure transducer wire, then take off both the discharge line from the A/C condenser and the A/C compressor. To stop any moisture getting into the system, cover both the compressor and condenser when the system is open. Connect the discharge line to the compressor with a new O-ring and tighten the bolt until you reach 22 Nm (200 in. lbs.). Following that, use a new O-ring to put the discharge line into the condenser and tighten the nut to 22 Nm (200 in. lbs.). Restore the pressure transducer's wiring, evacuate the air conditioning system and then charge it.
