Before installing the A/C discharge line, adjust the refrigerant oil level so that the A/C compressor is not damaged during operation. Before swapping several A/C parts, refer to the Refrigerant Oil Capacities chart for the right amount of oil. Always install new O-ring seals and gaskets to the refrigerant line whenever you handle it to prevent leaks. First, put the transducer on the A/C discharge line and then tighten it to make sure it stays secure. Install the A/C discharge line in the engine compartment and clear the discharge line fitting and condenser port of any tape or plug. Secure the A/C discharge line to the A/C condenser using a nut that is turned tight to 5 Nm. Join the wire harness connector to the A/C pressure transducer and fix the top front fascia into place. Hold the vehicle up and then get rid of all the plugs and tape off the discharge line fitting and compressor port. Apply grease to the rubber O-ring seal and gasket, put them in place, connect the discharge line on the compressor and secure it with a nut that is tightened to 20 Nm. Attach the splash shield onto the right frame rail, lower the car and link the negative battery cable once again. Make sure there is no vacuum in the air conditioner when you run the engine. After that, remove the refrigerant from the system, top up the oil level and charge the refrigerant.

Start your service of the A/C suction line by disconnecting and then isolating the negative battery cable and then recovery the refrigerant. Go to the front right area of the car through the bottom opening in the front fascia, unbolt the nut connecting the A/C liquid line to the A/C condenser, disconnect the line and toss away the rubber seal and gasket. Close the caps on both suction line fittings and the accumulator port, remove the nut held by the lower A/C suction line at the compressor, loosen that line and throw away the O-ring and gasket. Cover the suction fitting and the compressor port on the upper line before taking out the A/C lower line from below.
