To disassemble the crankshaft, dismount the engine, empty the oil, and disassemble such parts as the filter to the oil, the oil pan, and the timing cover. Connecting rod and main bearing caps should be carefully pulled off, and then the crankshaft removed. To install, grease bearings, fit parts and pour in engine with oil.
