How to Maintain a Mirror Switch on 2001 Dodge Ram 3500?

To service the power mirror switch, unconnect the battery negative cable. Remove the control knob and the nut that holds the switch in the door trim panel. Unplug wire harness then remove the switch. Reinstall it by reversing the process and inserting the battery cable again.
