How to Remove and Install an A/C Accumulator in a Refrigerant System on 2001 Jeep Cherokee?

To remove the accumulator, the battery negative cable is disconnected and the refrigerant is recovered. Unplug the low pressure cycling clutch switch, loosen the accumulator retaining band and unplug the suction line. Take out the accumulator, and then install the new one, reconnecting all lines and the battery. Replace 120 milliliters of recommended refrigerant oil.
