How to Service and Repair a Rear Door Latch Assembly on 2001 Jeep Cherokee?

In order to fix the rear door latch, you have to take out the access plug, trim panel of the door and waterdam. Unscrew and detach the latch, and fit the new latch, reconnecting rods, and securing it with 11 N.m (8 ft.lbs.) screws. Lastly, re-fit the waterdam, trim panel and access plug.
