How to Remove, Install, and Align a Camshaft Position Sensor with the Oil Pump Drive on 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) is fitted to the oil pump drive shaft assembly. To take it off, de-plug the electrical connector, unscrew bolts and unscrew the sensor. Indicate the position of the oil pump drive before removal. To install, clean, put on a fresh gasket and fit appropriately. Checking the position with a scan tool.
