Start with the axle shaft before touching the seal or gasket on the 194 RBI Axle. After that, insert a small pry bar into the seal hole at the end of the axle shaft tube and clean out the axle shaft tube, removing any roughness you may find. First, ensure the axle shaft tube bore is completely clean, center the new axle shaft seal in the housing and insert Installer 6437 using Handle C-4171. In the last step, attach the axle shaft to the differential.
